Brand Spotlight: Technic Cosmetics

Technic Cosmetics is a brand I have seen many times, either on the internet or in stores, but hasn’t been a brand I have really tried before, you can usually find Technic Cosmetics in Bodycare stores and online, you can check the full range out here - link
Their aim is to offer women a range of high quality but affordable products; so their ranges include everything from colour correctors to nail polish to makeup brushes, not to mention they have their version of the famous Naked palettes. I was lovingly sent a bunch of products to try and I have been putting these to the test, read on to see my mini-reviews too.

What I was sent:
Get Gorgeous Highlighting Powder in 24ct Gold
Colour Correcting Setting Powder in Yellow
Mega Lash Mascara in Black
Brow Pen in Medium Brown
Eyeshadow Primer For Shimmery Eyeshadows

First up, the Get Gorgeous Highlighting Powder, boy oh boy does this product mean business!! Not only does the colour actually resemble 24ct gold but the pigmentation and the long lasting finish makes this a product that will question all the high end highlighters out there! I love wearing this since this adds a bit of warmth to my skintone but with an added sparkle. This hasn't left my make-up bag yet and the cute ripple-like design sure makes this an eye-catching product too!

My base will be all kinds of perfection, thanks to the Colour Correcting Setting Powder in Yellow. I usually go for the dewy look and finish off my base with a setting spray but this is definitely a game changer. Not only does this effortlessly set your make-up but it also colour corrects it too. The yellow tone is said to correct and conceal any redness and pink undertones. It can also be used to highlight and sculpt parts of your face too! What I personally love about this product is that it can suit a variety of skintones and can be a possible dupe for the Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder.

I was so glad to be sent the Mega Lash Mascara in Black, I only go for mascaras that can give my lashes that oomph! This one beautifully separates and lifts my lashes but without any clumping. The jumbo packaging definitely matches the finish that this product gives, 2 coats and POW! Your lashes are super long and ready.

Using brow products are a must! Since having good and groomed brows can really frame your face, I was sent a Brow Pen but I was sceptical as to how it would work, I didn't really get on with brow pens before since it feels like a marker and you would essentially be drawing your brows on. This was different though. All I did was light flicks to fill in any sparse areas and it actually looked ok. I am still in the middle of using this but I will be sure to review this in more depth later on.

What a gem of a product! I am a magpie when it comes to shiny and shimmery make-up so the Eyeshadow Primer was something I definitely would of bought. I like that this eye primer has a twist to it, it's actually made for just shimmery eyeshadows and is said to really give your shimmer eyeshadows that extra depth, colour and long wearing time. I think you could even get away with wearing this alone too, just like a liquid eyeshadow. The actual primer itself contains shimmer so it would SO give your chosen eyeshadow some extra glitz.

Overall I am so impressed and happy with the products, Technic chose to send me. I cannot wait to review each item thoroughly and really put it to the test. I think my favourites out of the range has to be the eyeshadow primer and the highlighter.

What do you think of these products?

Flutter Perfect Blush Review

It's officially the first day of Spring today and seeing the sun shining and pink blossoms on the trees has truly got me excited for Summer! In Spring I love to wear alot more pink hues and I love sporting a pink cheek and lip.
I picked up this cute Flutter blush in Superdrug and I have to admit I picked it because of the cute packaging and the lil gold hearts.
I am currently using this and boy! Does this product have good pigmentation!

Product description:
For a natural glow add a pretty flush of colour to your cheeks with this soft Flutter Blush. Complete with beautiful packaging for a cute gift idea.

The cute packaging definitely does catch your eye and the compact is very travel friendly! It's sturdy and when you open it, you'll find a mini mirror inside it too.
Once you open the compact you are greeted with the most cutest pink blusher ever! The very bubblegum pink is so pretty and has shimmery gold hearts printed on the top. I just wished the gold hearts were running through the whole blusher instead of just being on the top because once you swirl your brush on the top, the design vanishes but despite this the actual pink colour is quite stunning and shimmery too.
I was amazed at the colour pay off too, seeing as I only paid £3 for this I wasn't expecting much but just product that screams 'fun factor' and to prettify my make-up bag contents.

When I wear this, it gives my complexion that luminosity and it makes me look oh-so glowy and healthy. I am so glad I picked this up. I wasn't able to find it in Superdrug again but if you are wanting to buy one then you can do so here - link

What's your favourite Spring blush?

DIY: Vintage Floral Nail Art

After using Renunail my nails have become much more stronger and longer, I am so happy that I can finally do some nail art and today I'll be showing you how to create this floral nail design which is as easy as 123! So here's how I painted mine!

What you'll need:
Blue nail polish
Different Pink and Red nail polishes
Green nail polish
Dotting tool/thin brushes
  1. Begin by painting your base colour, I opted for a pastel blue colour. Paint and leave to dry.
  2. Take a medium pink and paint some rough circles on each nail.
  3. Using a light pink and red polish, paint little strokes inside of the medium pink circle to add depth and to suggest petals. Adding reds and light pinks really framed and finished off the flowers
  4. Paint two small leave shapes with a green polish on each flower.
  5. Once you are happy with the flowers, seal your designs well with a topcoat to protect it.

I really hope you like it! I can't stop looking at my nails! I also cannot wait to do more nail polish reviews and nail art projects since my nails are in much better condition.

Mini Lush Haul

πŸ’–πŸ˜» Products featured:
Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb £4.25
Milky Bath Bubble Bar £3.75
Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb £1.95

It was that time again. Seeing as I had finished my lil stock of Lush bath products, I needed to stock up and buy some newbies that I haven't tried before.

Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb
I have been meaning to pick this one up for a while now and after reading so many lovely reviews, I knew I had to pick it up at my next trip. This bath bomb is a rose lover's dream. This contains yellow rose petals, rose oil and rose absolute. The outer shell breaks away and petals are dispersed everywhere, also can we just talk about how pretty the bath bomb looks?! So Insta-worthy!

How CUTE is this bubble bar?! I was sold at the amazingly clever name and design of this product and I am actually very excited to use this. Though the product isn't exactly 'fun' this bubble bar boasts of a more skin benefiting experience. This contains uplifting orange oil, soya milk and cocoa butter to give your skin some major TLC. This smells like baby fabric softener and I know this will work a treat on my dry skin.

Check this lil bot out! I picked this one up to try even though it's aimed for kids. This contains lavender essential oils which is perfect to relax and unwind in. It's also great for soothing any skin irritations too! This turns the bath water into a calming pastel blue and for only £1.95 you really cannot go wrong.

What have you picked up at Lush lately?

NEW IN | Candy Crush Lipbalms

Have I got an interesting launch to share with you today! The very popular game Candy Crush has just launched four candy flavoured lipbalms!
Yep, four delicious flavours that are based on the game. I was lovingly sent two flavours to try out and I could not wait to share my thoughts with you.

There are four flavours to choose from: Bubblegum Bridge, Chocolate Mountains, Peppermint Palace and Lemonade Lake. I was sent Bubblegum Bridge and Peppermint Palace.

I am LOVING the packaging! The cute and quirky design definitely catches your eye and would definitely brighten up your make-up bag too!
These balms have got a creamy formula that glides so effortlessly across the lips, my lips got an instant hydration boost and they felt oh-so soft and moisturised.
The Peppermint Palace has to be my favourite out of the two, since this one gives my lips that slight tingly sensation and the scent is spot on!
These lipbalms have certainly got a novelty factor and will definitely give your lips a sweetly scented glaze. It sits comfortably on the lips but don't expect it to heal chapped lips instead expect a quick fix of hydration with a subtle shine.
Just like playing Candy Crush on the go, these lipbalms are perfect for when you're on the move and in need of a quick moisture fix. I currently have Bubblegum Bridge in my make-up bag and I love wearing it daily before applying my favourite lipstick.

Available at all Primark stores for only £1.50* each!

What do you think of these cute and new launches?

Cute Poundland Haul

Products featuredπŸ’•:
Barry M lipgloss tube
Garnier intense care cream for the face, body and hands
I Love... Honey almond shower cream
Montagne Jeunesse White Chocolate face mask
Fluffy eye mask
Make Up Gallery silver glitter eyeliner

It has been a while since I last featured some cute bits from Poundland and I was definitely due a trip.
I think this particular haul beats all of the previous ones since I was able to get my paws on some of the leading brands in beauty and each item only costed me a mere pound!

You should always browse the make-up section because you are bound to find some hidden gems. I was so happy when I found a Barry M lipgloss, it's the perfect milky pink that I know I am going love and wear every single day.
I also picked up a gorgeous silver glitter eyeliner from Poundland's very own make up brand - Make Up Gallery. The collection itself looks great and I am a huge fan of their nail polishes too!

Skincare wise, I picked up a cute pink Garnier cream that can be used on the face, body and hands. I've already tried a bit and it smells divine! Just like fresh roses. I know I'm going to be keeping this in my handbag.
I also picked up a Montagne Jeunesse white chocolate face mask because a) I'm a hugeee fan of this brand and b) you can never have too many face masks at hand, perfect for pamper seshs!
Lastly what caught my eye was the bottles of body wash by I Love... I have seen these cutely scented body products in Superdrug and this 250ml sized bottle sells for £2.99. I love the scent of this one, so comforting and I love honey/almond scented body care products.
I also forgot to add that the cute and fluffy eyemask went straight into my basket, because it would of been rude not to buy it. I also may seem to like collecting eye masks *hides away*

What do you think of my Poundland finds?

The Cutest Cake Shop EVER - Peggy Porschen

If I had to describe this cake shop then I would say it's the girliest and the dreamiest of all! Like seriously this place is cake shop goals! I have been wanting to visit Peggy Porschen for a while and I am so glad I finally got the chance to try some of their glorious handmade cakes and sip a tea or two.

I absolutely loved how this cute lil cake shop was tucked away from the hustle and bustle of London. The seating area is very cozy and there are so many cute things to look at whilst you are waiting for your order. Gifts galore and amazing edible treats were all displayed and I was just gazing away at all of the iced biscuits which infact is my weakness.
I visited Peggy Porschen towards the end of February so there were still some Valentine's
day themed cookies left and I of course had to purchase a big ol' heart cookie, because hello! Look at how instagrammable it is!

Me and the hubby definitely wanted to take some treats away with us since we had to drive back to Birmingham. I opted for the Lemon, Raspberry and Rose Layer cake slice while the hubby chose a cute lil Banoffee cupcake. Both cakes were scrumptious and well, the cakes didn't last long either.

I definitely recommend visiting Peggy Porschen, perfect for girly catch ups with tea, a date or to even grab some cake slices on the go.

Have you visited Peggy Porschen?

Galaxy Bath Bomb By Lillian Soap Co

Looking for other bath time brands other than Lush? Well you have come to the right place. I wanted to feature a lovely lil Etsy shop called Lillian Soap Co. I was lovingly sent a few products to try out and I just had to feature this amazing bath bomb, I mean how lovely and sparkly does my bath water look?

Product description:
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, this crazy colorful, fizzy blackberry bath bomb was born to give you the ultimate bath art fun.
Drop this super fizzer in your pre-drawn bath to enjoy the aroma of sweet blackberry and the artful color with a hint of glitter.
Handmade item. Materials: SLS, cosmetic glitter, Sodium Bicarbonate, Magnesium Sulfate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Essential Oil, Fragrance Oil, Water, Dyes, Mica.

This galaxy themed bath bomb was truly out of this world! This huge bath bomb comes in a lovely light purple colour and has glitter running through the whole product. The golds and the deep pink colours really adds to the overall look and finishes it off nicely.
Once I dropped this into my bath, the bath bomb fizzed and swirled and turned my bath water into a lovely lilac colour, looked calming rather than overwhelming which was great! The glitter was my favourite bit and the scent was rather uplifting, it made me feel relaxed and even positive too!
The blackberry scent was spot on since it smelt like a basket full of ripe blackberries, a great pick if you are into fruity scents and one of the great things is that it did not smell artificial at all.
The scent lingered on for quite some time and overall a very pleasant bath bomb that ticked all of the boxes for me. FYI: There are also some cute emoji bath bombs and coloured shower gels too so definitely go and have a browse!
Lauren definitely makes top quality stuff and she has been making her bath products since 2015, I'm looking forward to seeing what she will create next because the products truly are fun and do not contain any harsh chemicals.

Lust List #1

The Library of Fragrance | Pixie Dust
Cover fx | Liquid Highlighter

Boy oh boy isn't this a dreamy bunch of products! It was hard to cut down to five products that I want need to get. Oh and that is a pink glittery water bottle on the far right... πŸ™ˆ
So first up! The Library of Fragrance. I absolutely am lovin' the look and sound of this cute lil company. I have to admit I have never tried or bought any fragrances before but whilst browsing I have seen a few scents that I really want to get, they also sell some crazy scents too! Imagine smelling like a chocolate chip cookie, fresh laundry or even playdoh!! They truly have made all scents available.
I used a sample of the Caudelie Vinosource moisturizing sorbet and I was so so impressed, the gel-like cream was like a hug in a tube for my dry skin and I actually do want to purchase a full size, the scent was very fresh and spa-like too.
Everyone and their dog has raved about Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate and having read about this blue bottle of skin dreams, I think I definitely want to try it out for myself too! It promises to do all kinds of wonders to the skin and the packaging is SO cute!
I LOVE highlighters but I want to step up my game by trying one from Cover fx. I have read and seen swatches and it looks so mesmerizing. I also love how it comes with a dropper so you can control how much highlighting you want to do.
Lastly, the mega glittery water bottle caught my eye whilst browsing the website. No questions asked. Have you seen such a beautiful thing?! I would definitely drink more water if I had this!

Which items do you think I should splurge on?

Cute Lil Primark Haul

πŸ’—πŸ‘€ Products featured:
PS...Liquid Liner £1
PS...Holographic Glitter Nail Polish £1.50
Assorted Pearl Stud Earrings £1
Pastel Pretty Make-Up Bag £3
TokiDoki Liquid Liner £1.50
Raspberry & Vanilla Mini Candle Jar £1
Wild Orchard & Honey Mini Candle Jar £1

It was that time again. I recently popped into Primark to pick up some basic bits and to basically buy more of those black leggings and black jeggings that are great for everyday wear.
No doubt, my favourite department in Primark has always been the accessory and beauty sections and I think I walked away with some pretty good and cute products.

I spent quite a bit in the accessory section and all I could see was chokers everywhere! I didn't pick any up because I wasn't too sure if it would suit me but I definitely wanted to pick up some pearl earrings. For a mere pound you are getting six pairs of pearl studs! How could you go wrong? I'm currently wearing the biggest sized ones and i'm lovin' it!

From the home section I needed to stock up on some more candles since I love burning candles in like, every single room in the house. I saw these two and they smelt surprisingly lovely. The raspberry and vanilla candle is my favourite out of the two since it has quite a strong fruity smell and I'm excited to burn this in my living room. Cozy vibes only.

I had major heart eyes when I saw the pastel make-up bag and the holographic glitter nail polish, I just put both items straight into my basket. I was running low on liquid liner so I picked up two. One is from the Primark beauty range and the other is from a cute brand called TokiDoki. I have to admit the last one was an impulse buy because a) it was by the tills and b) how could you not resist the cute packaging. Though it was priced at £2.50, it rang up as £1.50 instead. *NOTE, should of picked up three*

So there you have it, what I picked up at Primark! What do you think of my cute lil buys?

The Perfect Red Lip

Featuring the shade - The lady is a vampπŸ‘„πŸ’•

Technic have a vast range of lipstick shades and I decided to opt for a much bolder option. When I saw this deep red shade, my initial reaction was 'WOW' and although I always stick to much safer colours i.e nudes/light pinks I wanted to really try this colour on and break free from playing it safe with my usual chosen lip colours.
Read on to see how I got on with this bargainous lip product.

Product description:
A beauty must have for any woman. This lipstick glides on smoothly to give elegant looking lips. Vitamin E acts as an effective moisturising agent, improves the elasticity and smoothness of the skin. It also acts as an antioxidant preventing skin damage by free radicals.

The packaging is standard but straight to the point. The simple black casing is still striking and the handy coloured tip shows the colour of the lipstick.
The actual red colour is definitely a 'vampish' red and the colour is SO pigmented. I was amazed at the colour pay off and for the price, this lipstick is perfect if you are on a budget or if you want to play around and try out make-up without breaking the bank.
Eventhough this is a colour I wouldn't go for, it's good to experiment and have handy in your collection. I think because of this colour, I will be able to wear bolder shades and not just go for the safer options.
I was able to get a good wear out of this, atleast 4-5 hours. The colour stayed put and not only that, because of the added vitamin E, my lips felt nourished and hydrated.
I loved that this lipstick had something to give back, just like a lip balm.
Overall a product that should definitely be tried and for a mere price of 0.99 you are getting a lipstick that matches the likes of much higher brands.

Available at and bodycare.

Have you tried a technic lipstick?

Patisserie De Bain Cranberries and Cream Skincare Duo

I have no idea why I didn't try Patisserie de bain any sooner because this stuff is insanely good!
Patisserie de bain brings you quirky bath and body products, they capture cute scents and with retro packaging, it certainly grabs your attention too! I got this gift set free when I bought three products from the flutter range that was in Superdrug. It was finally time to report back why I really loved this brand.

Product description:
Discover your free spirit with the fresh, fruity delights of Patisserie de Bain Cranberries & Cream. Certainly not a crowd-follower, Cranberries & Cream is an eclectic blend of fruity cranberries whipped with sweet Chantilly cream with an eye-catching, unique style. From Hand Cream, Bath & Shower CrΓ¨me and Hand & Body Lotion to handmade sweet treats like Soaps, Bath Bombs and Bath Tartlettes – let your inner rebel shine bright.

So this giftset contained 1x Bath and Shower Creme 200ml worth £3.99 and 1x Hand and Body Lotion 200ml worth £4.99. Both products came in such a generous size and the adorable pink design on the packaging certainly brightened up my bathroom.
The scent was spot on. You could definitely detect the sharp fruity notes but the sweet chantilly cream brings the scent down to smell sweeter and more pleasant... ok and maybe yummy too!
The bath and shower creme foams up well with sweetly scented bubbles and it gently made my skin feel squeaky clean. The scent lingers on well and stays put on my skin for quite some time which is a major plus!
The hand and body lotion is my favourite out of the two simply because this lightly textured cream instantly hydrated and moistured my skin, every time I would move I could smell the scent and it's such a mood lifter too! The best thing was that it did not feel greasy in any way, the cream felt like whipped buttercream and I know I will be trying out more scents, I just cannot get enough of this gorgeously cute company.

If you are looking for bath/skin products that work, are budget friendly and have sweet scents then I definitely recommend Patisserie De Bain!

Check out the Cranberries and Cream range here - link
