Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Treatment Mask* Review

Do you have dry skin that could do with some major TLC? then look no further because this is the face mask for you! What a difference this has made to my skin, this is definitely something I look forward to using each week. Essentially this is one huge skin drinkπŸ’¦ and your skin will thank you for it!

Product description:
Give your skin the gift of hydration it dearly deserves with our Intense Hydration Mask. Our replenishing treatment mask is scientifically proven to intensely hydrate skin and also helps increase skin’s ability to retain moisture, so your skin will possess softness and suppleness like never before. 99% natural, dermatologist tested and noncomedogenic, for best results, use this facial mask as part of the 5-step Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration regimen. Put the power of nature to work for your skin.
First off, how huge is this product?! I was amazed at how much face mask you are getting for the price, a whopping 110g which can easily last a good time and with this mask a little goes a long way, the texture is quite thick so it will go a very long way indeed.
This creamy mask literally hugs and comforts the skin, it doesn't dry but gets absorbed by the skin so it ends up looking semi transparent but once you start washing your skin, the mask foams up a little bit but in no way dries, so this is good news for cream mask lovers and it would make sense for drier complexions because the last thing you would want is a drying product that takes away moisture.

This smells incredible too! It has a spa like scent and it isn't overpowering either. It has just the right amount of scent that has a calming effect. Goes really well with the extremely creamy and smooth texture of the mask.

Application was a breeze. I applied this with a face mask brush and I was able to apply it all over my face very quickly and easily. There was less mess and none was wasted either. I kept it on for a good 40 minutes and the whole time it felt very comfortable and relaxing. I washed off the mask with warm water and I was amazed at the results. My skin instantly felt so smooth, it seemed to have banished my dry patches and my skin looked renewed and brighter too. I couldn't believe that after removing the mask, I didn't have to quickly reach out for a moisturiser because sometimes I feel like certain masks take away moisture when you remove it but certainly not this one so I was extremely happy to see how well this had worked.

I cannot recommend this enough, it is so underrated and if you suffer with dry skin or have dry patches on your face then you seriously need to pick this up! Imagine how much this will help in the winter! Your skin will LOVE you.

Get Party Ready With Kiss Lashes*

When I think of false lashes, what comes to mind is: special occasions, parties, getting ready and the festive season and what better time to test out some gorgeous lashes that were sent to me! I created a quick pink/purple smokey eye and I wanted to complete the look with a pair of Kiss Lashes in Midnight from the faux mink collection*

Product description:
Transcend everyday beauty with sumptuously soft faux mink lashes.
Features: Developed with proprietary Mink Effect Design, Lash Couture features a knot-free lash band that distributes weightless volume and curl with a lush, softness like no other. LBD lashes create a smokey eye effect without eyeshadow. Exclusive Knot-free Lash Band. Weightless Volume & Curl, Soft & Seamless, Reusable
Benefits: The lush luxury of real mink lashes without using real mink. The smart humane choice. Adds multiple lengths, curls and angles to your own lashes.

Meet the most sumptuous dark false eyelashes, EVER! These falsies are dense bundled lashes that gives the perfect glam and wispy look and can suit any eye shape too! This style is fun and edgy to bring out the individuality in your eyes.

The feathered ends really makes the lashes look oh-so fluttery, I'm already obsessed with them!

Application was easy, I used the Lash Couture Strip Lash Adhesive in Clear* and applying the glue onto the lashes was a breeze! The glue has a brush on applicator for an easy and mess free application and it actually is infused with Biotin and Blueberry extract! Which means the formulation is gentle but has a strong hold. What I loved about the glue is that there is no nasty scent, you know... that typical latex smell that can seriously put you off ^^

When I applied it onto the band, I waited a few seconds for the glue to get tacky and then I applied it onto my eyes. Now I don't wear false lashes that often so my lash putting on skills aren't that great but these were some how SO easy to apply onto my lash line. I felt like the glue had taken a good hold of my lashes so I knew that these wouldn't become loose near the edges. The lashes are also reusable which is great since it actually looks and feels expensive but for a fraction of the price. I really recommend Kiss lashes! I genuinely think these products are so high in quality and I was amazed at how quick and easy the results were, trust me you'll stop buying those pound lashes once you try these!

'Midnight' lashes available to buy at Superdrug - link was £7.99 now £5.32*
'Pretty' lashes available to buy at Boots - link £5.99*

Kat Von D Beauty | First Impressions

I have heard SO much about the Kat Von D brand but I have never tried or swatched any of the products before... until now!
I got two of the most popular minis to play around with and well, it did not disappoint! The much talked about tattoo liquid liner and the very loved everlasting liquid lipstick! Read on to see my mini reviews!

Tattoo Liner in 'Trooper Black'
Believe me, I had really high hopes for this much talked and loved about product but I was really disappointed at how the liner was just not that black enough, you can see from the swatch that it isn't even fully opaque. I was expecting an extremely jet black colour that didn't need layering. I did however like the cute packaging and the ultra fine nib for easy and quick cat flicks. I hope the formulation of this gets changed so that the colour doesn't feather away and that it actually stays put.
RATING: πŸ’€πŸ’€ OUT OF FIVE

Everlasting Liquid Lipstickin 'K Dub'
This product truly WOWED me. I wasn't expecting such a huge colour impact. What you see outside of the tube, is the actual true colour and I didn't even need to layer this. From the swatch you can see how amazing the pigmentation is and it really does stay put no matter how much you eat or drink. I probably wouldn't opt for this colour though, I have checked out the range and thankfully there are some nudes and lighter pinks that I would actually wear daily. This liquid lipstick also seems to have a lovely buttery like scent which I don't think was needed but it sure adds to the overall lovely-ness
RATING: πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€ OUT OF FIVE

Easy Pastel Nail Art

There's nothing I love more than painting my nails and experimenting with colours and nail decals. I just recently painted my nails and I came up with a super cute look that I wanted to share because nail art doesn't have to be time consuming, it can really be as easy as 123.

Step one: Gather all of your nail polishes and decide what base colour you want. I own ALOT of pastel nail polishes so I opted for a lavender purple shade. Apply a good 2-3 coats and let it dry.

Step two: Do you have any decorative topcoats? Glitter polishes that look like confetti will come in handy for this step since this adds a lil extra to your overall nail look. I used a holographic glitter nail polish and I decided to paint this over some of my nails rather than all of them. Chunky glitter polishes will also look great so do add a good coat since this will look like a adorable 'background'

Step three: Nail decals are your best friend! For speedy yet customised nail art you can really get creative with this step since there are so many cute nail decals to choose from online. I happened to have a pack of cute cats and dogs so I just stuck a few on top and then sealed each sticker with a clear top coat. Let it dry one last time and there you have it! Easy nail art that requires no effect whatsoever.

Do you love nail art? What are your go-to colours and decorations?

Cute Jewellerybox Accessories

Hi Lovelies! Hope you all are well!

Are you looking to change up your accessories? well look no further because jewellerybox.co.uk is the place to go to for all simple yet elegant jewellery pieces! I was recently sent a range of cute and dainty accessories that were packaged ever so cutely.
The items arrived in a mini box and were all packaged individually and very nicely. Each accessory was sealed and had a jewellerybox label on the top. It's all about the little things and you can really see the care that has gone into the packaging so when you receive the items you won't have to worry. It also makes a great gift option too!

About jewellerybox.co.uk
jewellerybox.co.uk are an online retailer based in South London that specialise in selling sterling silver and 9ct gold unique jewellery pieces and with 8,000 pieces to choose from, there is definitely something for everyone! jewellerybox delivers to over 100 countries and I can assure you that buying from jewellerybox is fast, easy and even fun!

They also offer a wide range of personalised jewellery, a range of different metals  to choose from including Gold and Rose Gold, a under £5 section and free shipping on orders over £10. Basically everything you could possibly want from a cute accessory company.

I was sent three stunning pieces: Gold dipped sterling silver fine infinity bracelet with clasp (£7.85*) Sterling silver and enamel unicorn stud earrings (£7.45*) and 9ct gold teddy bear stud earrings (£21*)

First up, the adorable unicorn studs! These are super cute and I love wearing this to show my love for unicorns. These studs are super sturdy and the attention to detail is amazing, it is much smaller than I had hoped but this doesn't take away anything from the overall finished product. The pastel enamel is eye catching and is very light to wear. I have already received compliments whilst wearing this out and I am so glad jewellerybox have this in their collection, if you LOVE unicorns then this is definitely for you!

My second pair of studs came in the form of two little gold bears and boy! Does this scream minimalism! These studs are 9ct yellow gold and the design and cut is very clear, just like the previous earrings, these are light and very comfortable to wear. I love putting these on my super comfy basic days when I have my hair up in a top knot and whilst wearing my favourite lilac jumper on, just so it adds that extra bit of 'effort' in my overall look.

A dainty bracelet will bound to complete any look and the gorgeous gold dipped infinitely bracelet is my new favourite thing, EVER! I was surprised at how delicate the chain was because it definitely looks pricier than the actual price. I definitely see this as a popular choice from jewellerybox and this accessory is perfect for easy everyday wear.

Without any exaggeration, jewellerybox have won my heart for when it comes to choosing high quality and dainty accessories without the hefty price tag. There is just so much to choose from! What I have shared is just a small insight into what is available and I know I will be treating myself to some more studs and possibly a dainty chain necklace to add into my collection.

Have you heard of jewellerybox before and what do you think of my new accessories?

Lush Milky Bath Bubble Bar Review

Are you looking for much simpler things in life? then this bubble bar is the answer! This product may not have crazy colours or scents but this will definitely become your new favourite.

Product description:
Don't cry over spilled milk - bathe in it! This comforting little milk bottle bubble bar is filled with uplifting orange oil and soya milk to treat your skin to a dose of happiness. A cocoa butter bottle top adds a little bit of extra softness. Simply crumble under running water, for a super bubbly treat of a bath.

First of all can we all just stop and admire the cute shape of this bubble bar? This truly reminds me of the milk bottle sweeties you would find at a pick n mix shop.
A very cleverly named and shaped product by Lush and I'm so glad to see a product that is far from all those crazy colours which can be quite overwhelming. The scent is so comforting! It smells just like the comfort pure laundry liquid you would use for babies, so fresh but pure.

I decided to break mine in half and use it for two baths. A half was definitely enough because I was able to get so many sweetly scented bubbles that felt oh-so soft to my skin. I actually felt as if this was product was giving me a hug if that makes sense?
This bubble bar contains soya milk, cocoa butter and orange oil so that itself means it's going to have a huge skin lovin' factor. Even though I felt so relaxed, I also felt uplifted and content thanks to the orange oil. My bath water turned cloudy with a little bit of sparkle, the glitter easily went down the drain whilst draining the tub so there was no clean up necessary, WIN!

This product equals a more relaxed and calmer you. My skin felt nourished and I totally had to skip using a moisturiser since I really didn't have to apply anything.
I usually go for the fun and colourful products in Lush but I'm so glad I picked this one up and it's not too hard on the wallet either!
Let's just hope this is never discontinued because I'l be stocking up on these!

Pretty make-up is my WEAKNESS

Think pretty rose gold packaging, pastel pinks and dainty bows, when make-up is pretty, you would want it all!

Being a huge make-up lover and addict, I take pride in collecting and displaying my favourite products and after having a clear out I was able to see which products were a necessity in my collection.

Some of the brands that I love and maybe buy because I cannot resist the packaging are: Clarins, Dior, Rosie by Autograph, Chanel and Maxfactor. I have however been eyeing up some products from Etude House, Lancome and Estee Lauder to add into my much loved display and collection.

When make-up looks great, it makes you feel great too and it makes applying feel much more luxurious and something to look forward to during the day.

There's nothing I like doing more than to browse endless beauty counters and have a play around with all of the beautiful shades of make-up. It's the little things... but mostly the PINK things.

What is the most prettiest make-up item that you own? I would LOVE to know!

A Beginner's Guide To Sheet Masks

Sheet masks are very popular these days but do you find yourself confused about the formulations or just the concept in general? then you've come to the right place because I will be sharing my beginner's guide to all things Korean style sheet masks, so sit back, grab a cuppa and let's talk about all things skincare!

The basics

What is a sheet mask?

Sheet masks are face-shaped sheets that are made out of fabric and are soaked in a serum. The serum contains all the good stuff and vitamins that your skin will soak up and benefit from. These sheet masks are different from facial masks because you do not need to apply it everywhere, you simply just remove the mask from the sachet, place it onto your face and pat in the extra serum after removing the mask. Sheet masks are generally one use and are individually packaged, making it fast, convenient and easy to use.

How do you use a sheet mask?

It really is so simple. Apply it onto a clean face, leave on for 20-30 minutes, take it off and massage the leftover serum onto the face, no need to wash it off!

Where did the sheet mask originate from?

Sheet masks originates from South Korea. Today, sheet masks are widely popular and are used alot in Asia as a whole. Sheet masks are recently changing the beauty industry and are gaining popularity in the western world too.

Benefits of using a sheet mask

Sheet masks bring fast effects in regards to enhancing the skin. The serum contains various vitamins and minerals and would not dry out the skin compared to a usual clay face mask. They're an inexpensive way to brighten, tone, hydrate and soften the skin and the results are instant. With continuous usage, you will definitely see the difference.

My top tips when it comes to using a sheet mask

You do not need a specific time to use sheet masks, use it whenever you want to and the fact that they're disposable and that you do not need to wash your face after, definitely makes it my new go-to pamper essential.
Do not use any products prior to applying the mask, just normal, dry skin is the perfect base for the mask to go onto.
Time yourself, set yourself only 20 minutes for the mask to do it's thing. I never exceed the time because the mask could dry out so you would want to make sure you get all of the benefits from the mask.
Do apply the leftover serum. Either what is left on the skin or from the sachet. It all contains skin loving ingredients so make the most of it, your skin will thank you!

Do you have a favourite sheet mask? Also I hope this has helped so now you can become a pro at sheet masking and enjoy these masks as much as I do.

Cute Etude House Wishlist

Etude House has always been a cute brand that I have been loving, from the cute pastel pink packaging to the fabulous colour pay off and longevity, this is one brand that I need more of in my life!
I have put together my top nine items that I am going to purchase and after reading many reviews of each of the products, I definitely feel confident to try out this mega cute Korean brand!

1)0.2 Therapy Air Mask
Ok so I already own one but they all look and sound so great! I bought the 'Pearl' mask a few weeks ago and there are still 3 more scents that I would like to try, especially the Rose one since I am a huge fan of Rose scents. Sheet masks are definitely popular these days and I love how each one targets a particular skin issue. I always go for the hydrating and brightening ones.

2)Dear Girls Be Clear Pact Pressed Powder
How adorable is this? A pastel pink compact! I definitely need a new face powder to set my concealer so I think this would be perfect to use sparingly and to carry around on the go.

3)Oh M'Eye Line Liquid Liner
I have been using and loving another Korean liquid liner and I was amazed at the colour pay off and how long it lasted. I have read good things about this eyeliner so this is another product that I really want to try. It comes in many colours and the bottle is oh-so cute!

4)Silk Scarf Double Hair Mask
I couldn't resist reading about this, I mean look at the adorable packaging?! I have never used a hair mask before but I really want to try this one out! It is an essence coated cap which you wear then massage into the scalp which sounds so interesting. This should make my hair silkier and softer.

5)Lovely Cookie Blusher
This was one of the products that lead me into loving Etude House, I saw these blushers everywhere! From Instagram to Google. It is a firm favourite among all! This screams cute! There are so many lovely shades to choose from too and it even contains a cute powder puff with a little bow. This is one product I am really excited to try out, the only thing is what shade of pink to go for! ^^

6)Big Cover Tip Concealer
I really need to try this concealer out, having an Asian skin tone with yellow undertones can be a bit of a challenge to find the right base products that actually match, I remember trying another concealer and it matched quite well even though the shades are limited. I am going to opt for the beige shade and hope for the best.

7)Tint My Brows Gel
Imagine not having to fill in your brows for a few days, I love products that save time. You basically apply this onto your brows, leave it on for a few hours and then peel it off! You are then left with tinted brows! I LOVE how innovative Korean products are and products like this definitely need to be talked about more!

8)Kissful Lip care Lip Scrub
I don't really know any one else who makes good lip scrubs other than Lush and their's can seem slightly over priced. So this sounds like the next best thing. I also love that it comes in a tube so in terms of hygiene, this is great! I'm glad Etude House have added this into their range.

9)Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Chiffon
The infamous lipstick that I saw everywhere and it comes in so many pretty shades and finishes too! I have still not chosen a shade yet but I can certainly imagine how pretty it will look on my dresser.

So there you have it! My top picks from Etude House, I would LOVE to know your favourites or which product you would like to try! I would also love to know any recommendations too!

Elegant Touch Express 3 Minute Manicure Review

There's just something about having your nails done. You feel pampered and your look is complete but having them done professionally can come with a hefty price tag. So when a cute selection of Elegant Touch 3 Minute Express Nails landed on my doorstep, I was over the moon.

So will these falsies save my nails and transform them within minutes? Read on to find out!

Review
The Express Nails has to be my favourite range, since I am a huge fan of speedy beauty products. I was definitely impressed at the range of styles and colours to choose from so there is something for everyone. Each pack has 24 nails containing 10 different sizes of nail, as well as a nail file and a nail prep wipe. Simply choose which sizes you want to apply, then file and buff the nails as desired, use the nail wipe, and you're ready to apply your nails. Each nail is pre glued and has a protective film on the back of it which needs to be peeled off prior to use- once on the nail, simply press firmly into place and there you have it! Your nail is on. It really is as simple as that and not forgetting to mention how quick it is too!

Preparation is key, I was also able to find the most accurately sized nail to match too. I didn't think the sizing would be great because previous false nails I have used have been such a hit and miss but you can count on these packs to have such a good range of sizes.

Once I pressed the nails on, it definitely felt secure. There also was no mess with nail glue which is a huge plus for me, these pre glued nails held on for a good amount of time despite handling chores and a toddler. One nail did come off due to maybe my hands being in water whilst doing the dishes but you could glue it back on. I would recommend keeping a nail glue with you if you want even more long lasting results or if you are away/special occasions but having said that these have been the best so far in terms of longetivity.

Overall I really am impressed by Elegant Touch, I would hands down recommend these over any other stick on nails. There is just so much choice and you can choose from pastel pretty nails for a chic look or you can opt for a bold and fun look without any fuss and transform basic nails into fun colours and finishes within moments.

Prices range between £7.99 - £8.99* depending on the finish/style.

The Body Shop Strawberry Lip Butter Review

I recently popped into The Body Shop because I needed an ultra moisturising lip balm and having tried many flavours/scents before, it was time to buy another lovely lip butter and this time I picked up the very fruity, strawberry scent.

Product description:
Instantly hydrate and soften your lips with this fruity lip butter. Full of sweetly scented strawberry seed oil it will keep you coming back for more. Nourishes & softens lips, gives lips a light, natural-looking sheen, leaves lips soft and smooth, delicious fruity scent and contains cold-pressed strawberry seed oil.

Meet the cutest little pot of balm ever! This travel friendly lip balm will be your handbag essential and definitely be your lip balm of choice.
The little pot sure is cute! The red coloured pot and strawberry sticker clearly states what it is and the pot is sturdy and easy to open.
Once you open it, you can smell the incredible aroma of sweet strawberries. The scent is spot on. It does not smell artificial or overpowering but a true smell of fresh strawberries that will instantly drift your mind into thinking it's summer again.
The balm has a lovely buttery like texture, hence the name - lip butter. It applies onto the lips really well and gives an instant moisture and hydration boost to my lips. The only thing with this lip butter is that it has a milky white colour so you either have to use a small amount and when you do use it, be sure to really spread it on the lips but having said that it can be used as a base prior to lipsticks and also for applying loads before bed so that you'll wake up with super soft lips, kind of like a lip mask.

This small pot means business and can last a very long time so it definitely fairly priced at being just under a fiver.

I love this lip butter and I definitely recommend this to everyone, there are so many lovely scents/flavours to choose from to!

Tokidoki Black Eyeliner Review

πŸ‘€πŸ’—

I am on a quest to find the perfect black liquid liner and I wanted to review this insanely cute Tokidoki eyeliner which I picked up from Primark not too long ago.

The packaging is CUTE! Definitely one of the reasons, I picked this up also seeing the long brush handle kind of gave me hope that it will help achieve easy cat flicks.

The actual black colour does have a good colour pay off but it seems to smudge and also run too 😞 When it comes to liner, the last thing you would want is the colour to be faint or for it to run. Another issue I had was with the actual nib. It was very hard to create a flick that I wanted. It was good at just lining the eyes but it did not have flexibility, like a brush to ensure an easy to do cat flick. I just either ended up with lined eyes or cat flicks that were just too thick! Which meant me having to repeat the whole process again.

I really wanted to like this eyeliner but it was a complete miss for me and so my journey continues to find the perfect liquid liner.

Do you have liner recommendations for me? Comment below your all time favourite liners because I need one ASAP!
